Summarize with AI

TL;DR. Every low visibility score traces back to one of three gaps. SEO Gap = the site is technically blocking AI engines or making content hard to parse. PR Gap = third-party sources do not mention or trust the brand. Content Gap = the content either does not exist, or it exists but is not written in an AI-citable way (for example it does not include justification reasons pulled from the Sentiment Tab). Diagnose the right one and the fix is obvious. Diagnose the wrong one and you waste a quarter.

The SEO Gap: technical & structural

The site is technically blocking AI engines or making content hard to parse. Check via Rankscale's Page Audit. Common causes:

  • WAF blocking crawler bots or robots.txt discouraging bots from accessing your website
  • JavaScript-rendered content the crawler cannot read (takes too long to load)
  • Missing JSON-LD schema
  • Broken H1/H2 hierarchy
  • Content not chunked into clean paragraphs RAG systems can retrieve

The PR Gap: authority & mentions

AI engines weight third-party sources heavily. If a brand only appears on its own blog, it has a PR gap. Three sub-types:

Sub-gapWhat to checkWhere to fix
Entity gapListed on Wikidata, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Google Knowledge Panel?Claim and verify each. Build a grounding page with structured facts.
Citation gapAre competitors cited on G2, Forbes, Reddit, YouTube and you are not?Target directories, editorial PR, community presence.
Sentiment gapNegative threads on Reddit/Quora or blog posts dragging the score down?Source-trace the keywords. Engage authentically within community fora, not defensively. Reach out to blog posts directly; most have a contact option in the footer.

The Content Gap: format & justification

The content exists but cannot be extracted. Four patterns to diagnose:

PatternDiagnosisFix
BLUF gapThe answer is buried under marketing fluff40–80 word direct answer in the first paragraph
Justification gapNo pros/cons, comparison tables, or 'best for X' claimsAdd justification attributes (positive keywords) from the Sentiment tab that mitigate recurring negative keywords from competitors
Freshness gapPage has not been updated in 12+ monthsRefresh monthly. Content under 30 days earns 3x more citations.
Evidence gapClaims are qualitative, not data-backedAdd stats, dates, named sources. Up to 40% visibility lift.

Do this now:

Pick your worst-performing strategic prompt from Step 2. Match the symptoms against the three gap types. Write down one sentence:

"The primary gap on this prompt is [SEO / PR-Entity / PR-Citation / PR-Sentiment / Content-BLUF / Content-Justification / Content-Freshness / Content-Evidence]."

That is your diagnosis.
