Technical Sales Manager | Rankscale | Vienna (Hybrid) | Full-time

In 12 months, you will be our Head of Sales, building and leading the sales function as we expand across Europe and grow our enterprise and agency client base.

About this role

At Rankscale, we are building software to help hundreds of brands (such as Bosch, REWE, L'Oreal, Publicis Groupe) monitor and improve their visibility in AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. We are looking for people who embrace AI tooling to 10x what they are capable of.

We are scaling fast and need someone who can own our sales motion end-to-end: identifying the right prospects, running conversations yourself, and closing deals with marketing and SEO decision-makers at enterprise brands and agencies.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, demo, proposal, and close
  • Identify and target the right buyers at enterprise brands and agencies: CMOs, heads of SEO, digital marketing leads, and agency partners
  • Run product demos that translate AI visibility data into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline and report on it with honesty and precision
  • Work closely with the CEO to refine messaging, pricing, and sales strategy based on field learnings
  • Feed market and competitor insights back into product and growth decisions

Requirements

Must-have

  • Proven track record of closing B2B SaaS deals with measurable results
  • Comfortable with technical products and able to explain value clearly to technical and non-technical buyers
  • Hunter mentality: source your own leads and run your own process
  • Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment

Nice-to-have

  • Background in SEO, digital marketing, or MarTech
  • Experience selling to enterprise marketing or SEO teams, or to digital agencies
  • Familiarity with AI search or the broader AI landscape
  • Experience building or structuring a sales function from scratch
