Full Stack Developer | Rankscale | Vienna (Hybrid) | Full-time

In 12 months, you will be the go-to person for all things product and frontend at Rankscale, shaping the user experience as we expand to new markets, engines, and scale our client base.

About this role

At Rankscale, we are building software to help hundreds of brands (such as Bosch, REWE, L'Oreal, Publicis Groupe) monitor and improve their visibility in AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. We are looking for people who embrace AI tooling to 10x what they are capable of.

We are scaling fast and need someone who can own our frontend and product experience, turning complex AI visibility data into intuitive dashboards, powerful filtering, and seamless user workflows that enterprise clients love.

What you will do

  • Own and evolve our web application by building fast, reliable product features across frontend and backend that enterprise clients depend on daily
  • Translate complex AI visibility data (visibility scores, sentiment, citations, competitor benchmarks) into clean, intuitive dashboard experiences with real-time filtering and drill-down capabilities
  • Build and maintain integrations between our platform and external data consumers: REST API endpoints, Looker Studio connectors, CSV/Sheets exports, and webhook pipelines
  • Work directly with the CTO and CEO to ship new features fast, with quality, from prompt configuration UIs to execution history views and sharing flows

Requirements

Must-have

  • Strong full stack skills with confidence owning both frontend (React or similar) and backend (Node.js, Python, or similar)
  • Experience building data-heavy UIs (tables, charts, timeseries, filtering) with a sharp eye for usability
  • Solid API skills: building and consuming REST APIs, handling async data flows
  • Ability to work independently, make product decisions, and ship without heavy spec documents

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Firebase / Firestore or similar NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run)
  • Experience with data visualization libraries or BI tool integrations (Looker Studio)
  • Background in SaaS products serving enterprise clients
