# About Rankscale

Rankscale is a tool for generative engine optimization (GEO). It shows how your brand, website, product or service appears in the answers of AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek, and what you can do to improve it.

## What Rankscale does

AI search engines answer a question directly and name the brands they trust. Rankscale measures whether your brand is one of them, over time and across engines.

You can audit your website to see how AI understands it, find gaps and content optimization potential, and track your presence in AI search results. Rankscale also analyzes the sources an answer cites and the sentiment around your brand, and shows how competitors perform on the same questions.

## Who it is for

## Build on Rankscale

Your data is not locked in the dashboard. The REST API gives programmatic access to visibility and analytics metrics and to shareable dashboard links, and the MCP server lets AI assistants read your Rankscale data with permissions you choose. Reports can also go to Looker Studio.
